| SDSU Student Film Festival: Call for Entries |

Film submissions are being sought for the annual SDSU Student Film Festival, which is held on the university campus in Brookings, S.D.

PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota State University (SDSU) Student Film Festival is now accepting entries for this year’s festival, “Pack the PAC.”
Submissions for the competition should be 10 minutes or less and can include any genre.
“It was rough at the beginning,” said Zeke Hanson, SDSU Student Film Festival Producer. “There really wasn’t a big film market for us to tap into. It’s been fun to see the films progress as well as see the public interest and involvement grow. The first year we held the festival our attendance was at about 100 people, last year we surpassed 350 and this year we are hoping to do even better.”
The Film Festival will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center on the campus of SDSU. Admission is free.
