South Dakota Film Festival Tickets Now on Sale.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Tickets for the South Dakota Film Festival go on sale Tuesday, August 21st. VIP, full festival passes, session passes and student passes are available.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance by contacting the Capitol Theatre at (605)225-2228. Will call tickets will be available at the theatre box office for the festival opening. Information such as price and availability can also be acquired through the Capitol Theatre, and the festival Web site www.southdakotafilmfest.org.
The VIP passes include access to all sanctioned South Dakota Film Festival events including all film sessions, hospitality and the expo. Full festival passes grant access to all scheduled film sessions. Tentatively, four sessions have been planned for; one on Friday Sept. 21st, two on Saturday Sept. 22nd, and one on Sunday Sept. 23rd.
Seating is limited and tickets will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis (sorry no reserved seating).
Film submissions have ended as of August 15th and films are now been reviewed by festival officials. The “official selections” for the 2007 South Dakota Film Festival will be announced as they are chosen, the bulk of which should be announced on August 21.
"A wide array of films have been submitted for the inaugural festival," said Lesa Jarding, film and media representative, South Dakota Office of Tourism. ”We're excited to share these incredible film pieces with festival attendees."
