| Colorado premiere of IMPRINT announced for NATIVE VOICE FILM FESTIVAL |

Award-winning feature film IMPRINT will screen its Colorado Premiere at The Native Voice Film Festival.

DENVER, Colo. – Award-winning feature film IMPRINT will screen its Colorado Premiere at The Native Voice Film Festival on Wednesday, November 14 at 7:45 PM at the HYATT Convention Center, Centennial Room C.
The Native Voice Film Festival and Media Awards 2007 are a sanctioned event of the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) Annual Conference. This is the largest annual gathering of tribal leadership in the U.S., with over 3,000 attendees expected for 2007. (www.ncai.org)
General admission tickets for the IMPRINT screening are $10 and will be available at the door at 5:15 PM. Admission is FREE to NCAI registrants.
IMPRINT is a Native American supernatural thriller produced by Chris Eyre (Cheyenne/Arapaho)and Linn Productions. The story is set on the Pine Ridge Reservation and was filmed entirely on location in Western South Dakota.
Tonantzin Carmelo (INTO THE WEST) stars as Native American attorney Shayla Stonefeather, who prosecutes a Lakota teen in a controversial murder trial. When she returns home after the trial, strange visions and ghostly voices propel her on an unexpected journey. Though Shayla initially rejects a spiritual explanation for her experiences, she begins to uncover what she believes is a link between the visions and her brother's disappearance two years earlier. Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, Shayla deliberately confronts and follows the apparitions, leading her to a horrifying revelation and a purpose she could never have foreseen.
IMPRINT premiered at the 2007 South by Southwest Film Festival Austin, Texas and has since been featured at the Native Cinema Showcase in Santa Fe, the International Cherokee Film Festival in Oklahoma (Best Feature), the South Dakota Film Festival in Aberdeen (Best Narrative Feature), the Monument Valley Film Festival, Heard Museum Festival in Phoenix, the American Indian Film Festival in San Francisco, and the Tallgrass Festival in Wichita.
Award-winning Cheyenne/Arapaho Director Chris Eyre produced the film with Linn Productions' Executive Producer Carolyn Linn. The director is Michael Linn, who also wrote the screenplay with Keith Davenport. Marc Linn assistant directed.
Featured stars of the film are Tonantzin Carmelo (INTO THE WEST), Carla-Rae Holland, Michael Spears (INTO THE WEST), and Cory Brusseau.

The Native Voice Film Festival is an annual event in Rapid City, South Dakota. This year's festival is being held in Denver, Colorado, as a special event for NCAI. It will feature a select group of films to be showcased for tribal leadership. All events are also open to the public. Screenings are on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday, November 11,12 & 14.

The NATIVE VOICE MEDIA AWARDS will be held on Monday, November 12 at 8:30 PM. Featured entertainment includes Native blues/rock performer GEORGE LEACH, singer/actress Q'orianka Kilcher ("Pocahantas" in THE NEW WORLD), and a traditional Lakota drum group from Pine Ridge, South Dakota.
